London South Central Opportunity Sites

London South Central, to the south of the river in central London, is one of the capital's most exciting development opportunities. The London Plan (2004) highlights that it contains four of central London's Opportunity Areas - zones capable of accommodating substantial numbers of new jobs.

Cross River Partnership (CRP) identified smaller sites within this area which were derelict or underused, highlighted those issues which are hindering development, and made recommendations to facilitate the successful regeneration of these sites.

The project intervened in order to ensure certain sites and premises were positively exploited for commercial, residential and other uses where there would be little or no prospect of  development otherwise in the short to medium term.

Recommendations were devised for each site, in consultation with the relevant local authority, developers and landowners, in order to facilitate its successful development.
